My name is Jake Paulinellie. I am 17 and passionate about entrepreneurship. Recently, I realized my problem. I think they call it "shiny thing" syndrome. I always thought there was something better to do, and if I was not feeling productive or was not learning something new I was not doing the right thing. That all changed recently, and now I am practicing focus.
For a long time, I was lost. I thought that was a bad thing, but looking back on the past few years with a little more clarity, I now realize, everyone is lost. Every engineer, scientist, business leader, and entrepreneur, is "lost". That is what it means to be human. This was a concept I wrestled with for years because it seemed like everyone else had it figured out. My goal now? Deal with the uncertainty and live it up.
1. Jesus is the center of my life and nothing comes before him
2. Enjoying experiences and spending time with my family
3. Everyday is a new chance to learn. Not random knowledge, but skills you can truly implement into your life
4. treat everyone as if you know them well, that way you will be slow to anger and more understanding
5. be happy even when there is no reason to be joyful
6. not knowing what your are doing means you are on the right track
